The World Council of Environmental and Resource Economics Associations(WCEREA) was tasked by its member associations AAERE, AERE, and EAEREwith planning and executing the 7th World Congress of Environmentaland Resource Economists in 2022. The WCEREA began its work in 2019 andreceived proposals from candidate local organizing committees shortlybefore the COVID pandemic began in 2020.
