• The membership you are buying is valid for one year from 1 July of the year of the next Congress. However, you will be registered on the AAERE mailing list and receive information from the AAERE once you pay.

• Your email address is registered on our two mailing lists: aaere-ml and aaere-member. The "aaere-ml" mailing list is used for the announcement from the association. You can also use it for scholarly communication with other AAERE members. The "aaere-member" mailing list is for an active member who has a right of voting in the general assembly and the election (every two years) by paying the membership fee for the year.

• In particular, an AAERE member will receive information on the Congress and the other activities by AAERE via either of two mailing lists: aaere-members@googlegroups.comand aaere-ml@googlegroups.com. The aaere-ml@googlegroups.com is also available for communication among AAERE members.

• Region/country defines your electoral zone for voting rights and eligibility for the directors and auditors of the association. You can choose it according to your facility's location or nationality. If you choose "other," we will contact you for an election.
